My second time during my vacation in Porto was an even better experience. Great food great view but the best thing was the service. Very friendly, professional and great. I will be back next year.

This restaurant opened opposite where we lived and didn&#39;t notice it at first. I originally booked a steak in another store, but the business was really good. The boss took the order for a dumpling to show us. The 5 of us really couldn&#39;t get in, so I searched it quickly, hehe! This one is also good, I ordered a few special dishes, delicious! I&#39;m grateful for the staff and waiters for the brilliant service. I asked for a table with a view for Douro river and they managed to fulfill that request. Thank you very much it made the dinner very special, and of course the food as well. Everything was delicious.

Very charming restaurant with fantastic view! Service was very nice, and thank the team and chief waited us even though we were late due to flight. Highly recommend for anybody wanna a nice chill dinner night in Porto

Food and service were very good. The only irritation came from a policy of charging &euro;5 per person for a table with an uninterrupted view of the river. Restaurant wasn&rsquo;t full and the river view tables were not reserved. Seems like a petty policy to me.

All Staff were friendly, warm and welcoming. The location is stunning and we experienced an incredible sunset! Highly recommend a visit!

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at DeCastro Gaia.  The restaurant was very kind to accommodate our request for a table adjacent to a window with a terrific view of the bridge.  Both appetizers and entres were excellent, as was the selection of ports.  The dining room is a great size, not too large yet intimate at the same time.   We did not venture upstairs to the roof terrace, although there is a relatively steady stream of guests passing through the dining room en route to the roof.  We would happily return again when next in Porto.

What delicious food and warm gracious service! We loved everything we ate the Spanish eggs over potatoes and mushrooms were to die for and the fried cod was DELICIOUS! I saw other tables order the chorizo that you toast over fire at your table and I was so envious and wished I had ordered that too! It looked amazing!

Our second visit to this restaurant, a Michelin star quality meal paired with excellent wine. Our server Mario was attentive and helpful in our wine selection.
